c# - How to create a dynamic linq to entities query -

Now it's probably really easy but this is the tool that I am not the best way to attack this problem is .

I have loads of methods using a DAL and EF that populate the drop down list in a UI. Ie content, source.

Of these, I want the users to have Gridview based on their criteria, based on their criteria, i.e. they can choose something from some DDLMTT and some of the DDLSOSer or some DDLSOS, Some etc, etc.

How would I go about creating a Linux for this?

Is it to write loads of if, and / or statements, or there is something a little clever that I can do - I doubt later but after a knock, I am pushing in the right direction is required.

Any help or number in the right direction has been grateful.
