How do I create an animated tile on WP7 similar to the Xbox live tile? What are the alternatives to animate tiles in general?
After a good bit of research I'm tilting towards it is not possible. You can use to update that tile which adds some flexibility and opportunity but unlike the possibility of achieving the similarity of Xbox Live Tile, it is said that I have the motivation for the extent of animation available I understand this feature will be misused and eventually the device will be slowed down.
