I love Wordpress, and for the most part it's self explanation and easy to use.
However, the "Add Video" icon on the post page looks almost totally useless.
Here's what I did:
-
Click the "Add Video" button
-
Ballon A video file was uploaded to a local machine called MPG
-
pressed "Insert in post" button
Result The URL of the hyperlink video file is called "balloon". I did not expect that.
Is this the functionality that is going to happen?
I administer a WordPress MU blog, and my users are confused about why there is no icon if it does not automatically embed local video.
Is there a way to hide that icon?
Unfortunately, this is the right functionality, I have no way to hide this button, Definitely can use its behavior. When you click on the 'Add Video' button, you will be presented with additional options, including the ability to insert a video player directly into the post such as:
This will generate a quick code, which will later be presented by a player directly in the post.
Best,
Zach
