We are looking to create a PHP web application to manage such data that only the 3rd party interfaces Is available as well
We want to use an existing PHP framework to do this, we are considering cakepaps and codiginators, but are open to other options.
We hope that the biggest problem model is going to be that it will use the REST API as a data source rather than a local database.
I have written a base and used it to interact with the reset API in many other plugins I am The plugins I've released so far and still I'm working on Google Apis (YouTube and Analytics), Twitter, Tweeppek and Facebook. They use CakePHP's excellent HTP class which mentions misleading.
Take a look at those KPPHP plugins and you should be able to see how simple they are but powerful.
