I want to know which approach is better for saving webpage content for caching?
- Using Ntext data-type and saving the content as a flat string
- Using ntext, but securing the content and then saving
- Using verbani (max) to save content (How do I change the flat string
- Another approach that you are advising me
UPDATE
In more depth I have several tables (URLs, cache, perused content, Words, hits and etc.), which I am submitting a request for each URL in the URL table and the feedback in the cash table. This is my engine's downloader (Google's URLResolver) section, then the indexing section act parsing and etc. And compressed / decompress only works when new content is caching or parsing
Better then Will use the built-in caching features Aspiknet the latter is a good start, and (or before), you will find two similar searches you quite far.
In response to your comment, I probably have a flat string of data. If it comes to storage then the best option can not be performance-wise, but if you are going to search on text content, you do not want to compress / decontcry or convert binary every time, because in SQL Server There is probably no easy way to do this, just be sure that you have all intexes and full-text features that you need to set up correctly.
