I am trying to use a JNI library but am unable to find out where my files are on Ubuntu machine Are you
The reason I need to find is because I suspect IM is using an older version and changing it with a new one.
Instead of Xinyi, rather than an Ubuntu question.
Any help is appreciated. The answer will be different depending on which library you are searching for.
You can also find / usr / lib
in others / ur
depending on what you have installed in others. Also see / usr / local / lib
and possibly somewhere in the system (refer to the answer given above to find them all).
You have installed a package for a specific library, for example JNI. Sun-java6-bin package you use dpkg to query for package list and where you want the file.
dpkg -L sun-java6-bin | Grep '\ .so'
will tell that most packages / usr / lib / jvm / java-6-sun - *.
If you 'Make sure that which package was installed with your Java, you can see the list of these packages in the following:
dpkg - L Grep java
I hope this helps.
