Possible to mirror iPhone/iPad screen on a monitor without jailbreaking? -

I'm looking for a way to show an iPhone screen (not a simulator) on a monitor or projector for demo purposes.

Release Notes and mention that it is possible to connect external display on iOS 4.0 devices.

Is it possible to demo an iPhone device on a monitor without using the simulator, or are there other release notes about the improvements?

Anyone trying to display the iOS 4.0 device is a projector or monitor?

Update 22.Jul.010:

  • To mirror the iPhone screen: Use the jailbreak and VNC, IDMO or the screenplitter
  • To output an external device from your application: Apply external display support to your app in iOS 3.2, 4.0

Update 15 Apro.1.2011; )

Update 1.Dec.2011:

iPhone 4 within your application, any external display as an additional UIScreen example Appears. You can make UI windows, connect it with the USCE, and keep the content you want to display on the secondary monitor.

I show how to do this in the video for the iPad session, and provide some code for it. There is also one in Matt Jamel.
