Offline Amazon S3 -

Therefore I would like to try to use my server for my server, although the Heroku does not allow its file system to be written is. Instead, I have to use some of the things like the database and Amazon S3 to be used as uploaded images. The problem is that I do not have internet access often when I'm developing. Or is it very impractical to use very poor Internet applications for Amazon S3? Is there an offline version to use it, so that my local machine works as S3 cloud, and when in the test / production environment, Can I use 3?

My recommendation is to try with rsync how it will work:

  1. Mount your S3 drive / mnt / sdaX / on your production machine and / mnt / sdaY / on your local machine.
  2. Create a file system on your local machine at / mnt / sdaX /.

Make changes on your local machine as needed. When appropriate, rync / mnt / sdax / to / mnt / sdaY / on your local box.

I know that this is complicated, but I'm not sure there is any other way to do this, to maintain the same configuration on both places. I can usually say that you have local caching enabled It should be written locally on s3fs drive, but I'm not sure what to do when I return online (I'm pretty sure this is not sync but I have gone ahead).
