In a situation where I need to save all the data members in the NSDictionary It does more to put strands (custom type or even scalers i.e. CGPoint ) in its own cover (not NSValue ), so I Can I avoid or set up a member of the overhead of encoding / decoding?
Saving IMO is important for large strokes (16 floats), but even with CGPoint , I can save 4 bytes of copy plus encoding / decoding time.
Why not just measure it for your specific case?
If both options are not enough then you can take the C ++ with the indicator by setting the plain strokes accordingly or with the indicator. std :: map / std :: tr1 :: unordered_map for spin (if you have no reason to mix in C ++).
