I am using I want to display a verification error message inside the areas of investigation. For example, if the email field is invalid, then I want to clear my content and display the message above. I say above, there is no need to change the content in the error message in Cause.

when If you issue an error message, then I recommend going to bad field values in place. This gives the user an opportunity to see what they did wrong and correct them.
