Best way to check new-line-independent-identity of 2 files with python -

I tried

  filecmp.cmp (file1, file2)  
 
 
 But this does not work because the files are equally different than the new line characters. Whether there is an option in filemmp or some other feature function / library or I have to read both files from the line and compare them is? 
 
 
 
 
 I think a simple feature should work in this way: 
 < Note: "Note that all" and "izip" are lazy "I" (filename 2, "RTU") as the # (all will be closed in the first row) all (MyPrints) and line Line 1 for A, return izip (a.xreadlines (), b.xreadlines ())) in line B
